To put it simply, fascism is authoritarian dictatorship. Americans appear to be looking the other way or putting blinders on when assessing the candidacy of Donald Trump. Do we want to live in a fascist regime or a Democratic Republic? But, as it now stands, If Trump continues to incite the American public with his demagoguery ideals, then America will become that fascist Republic through Trump’s immunity for running for president.
Something needs to be done to correct this dangerous matter. We are living at a time now in America when the prevailing consensus speaks for itself: Trump, as the leading contender for the Republican Party is causing Americans to regress their grievances that they have had about America: If the former president wins, then America will revert to that fascist Republic.
Furthermore, the discontent among the working-class is eroding American values. Each day we are bombarded with statistics of how the marginalize are still living on the fringes of society and gutter politics among politicians are a fact of life. Still, the toxic polarizations that have distance far too many Americans are now threatening the very foundations of this Democratic Republic.
And yet, Trump continues to weld his authoritarian threat via his campaign for the presidency. This country is becoming that fascist dictatorship through no fault of its’ own.
